Edge Performance Writers meet monthly to support each other, read and critique each other’s writing and seek to create opportunities for local playwrights to have their work performed and recognised.

We foster relationships between WA writers, encourage collaboration between existing theatre groups and engage a wider local audience by creating micro-theatre events that will become the catalyst for establishing this region as a source of nationally recognised performance works.

We meet together twice each month (online) to develop our playwriting skills and give feedback on our works in progress, and to read and critique an Australian play. We also get together to see local play performances, attend workshops, and to catch up in person.
